I'm sure your Sammy is fine. If you've never had OLED or mini-led, any of these crappy 70+ inch TV's will be fine.
I have an LG C1 and I get it OLED is beautiful but it doesn't really make me disregard high quality LCD TVs. The 70" Samsung I got for $500 looks great. And the main TV for our home is also an LCD TV, the 85" Samsung QN90A, which looks great as well. I wasn't really concerned for the 70" Samsung not looking great, since as I said it's already hooked up and I was able to check the picture quality and be satisfied. I was just wondering about what could have been with these cheap 75" TVs... If I could have gotten a 5" larger TV with equal or similar picture quality as the 70" Samsung.
What kind of idiot buys a "onn" TV. I wouldn't even buy a charging cable from them. Hisense has their A65K at Costco for 50$ more, it's better in every way

I don't know how it is "better in every way." Information is lacking, but they seem very similar. Both are 60hz displays with similar brightness, 350. That Hisense has an extra HDMI port.. Neither can display hdr10 correctly at that brightness. I wouldn't be surprised if Hisense or TCL made the onn tv for Walmart. You don't need a membership to shop at Walmart, and I would just go buy the $50 cheaper one. The best thing to do would be to lay eyes on them in person. Here is a link to the one I think you're talking about. https://www.costco.com/hisense-75...79931.html
Also it would be a preference between Google tv and Roku.
edit; consumer reports did a review on this tv. tldr; decent video, poor sound, not great viewing angles, not bright enough for HDR. Need to be a consumer reports member for full review, but general stuff can be read. They couldn't find out the maker of the onn set, but element is certified to repair it in the US. https://www.consumerreports.org/e...A300620%3B

A 70" Samsung you got for $500 is not a high quality LCD TV.

I have 2 Onn Roku TV's, both have performed well. One is used on a covered deck and has held up for two years. I bought a Hisense for my dad and the panel went out and was generally unreliable. So, as usual, YMMV.
Also, I've used the Walmart warranty process before and it is pretty good considering the alternatives.

I'd take Hisense over a literal "Walmart" tv. Walmart has always made cheap quality junk

Generally, Hisense had had a good reputation as they offer multi year warranty support, at not additional charge. I got 3 years warranty on my A65K from Costco.
Hisense has always been known as the best brand to go with when it comes to budget TVs

Except for being a whopping 10 inches smaller?
The model number is A65K but it's a 75" TV….
But I get the misunderstanding
