I've been using my Arctis 5s(I think?) for like 4 years so far with zero issues. I chose them over other headsets because they were comfortable while wearing my glasses.
Software is good and the Sonar is a nice touch. Fairly certain the software can be closed after it has loaded your profile as well to avoid the extra bloat on PC.
I don't care what you think. It's pure junk and trash.
LOL. Most comfortable and nicest headset I've ever owned for the price. Plus if you haven't upgraded your headset in 10 years I bet your buddies in party chat (assuming you have any) are getting the short end of the stick.

Same here. Got them from the price error deal for $20 or whatever it was. Wireless would be nice but the 5 works well.
We don't care what you think either. This band is one of my favorites. Getting 5 years out of gaming headphones that are probably being used daily for hours is really good.
Eh I don't know the wired apple headphones I have that shipped with some iPhone 15 years ago are dead simple and I expect they would last another 15 years. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect excellent reliability from headphones, they are pretty simple devices. Unfortunately, wireless devices are basically disposable because batteries are typically not replaceable. This doesn't mean we should accept having to buy new headphones every few years.
I've had my Arctis 7 headset for over 6 years and only needed to replace the ear pads. Clearly you got a bad piece of hardware or you are rough with your belongings.

Bad take. I've had their Arctis 7 headset for 7 years and it works like new.

Which is why they're always one of the best ranked brands…

I hope someone tells me I'm wrong, but if you're looking for something that works on PS and Xbox I believe the Arctis 7x is the only one
