Pulled the trigger. I have this family of tools and have been pretty happy over the last 10 years. Almost worth it for the battery

I'll add this for emergency knowing I'll probably never ever have any use for it but what the hell.

$85 for me with the kit, $99 tool only. I've got a drill, blower, and line trimmer in this tool line. They e all held up well over the years and I could use a small chainsaw. In for 1.

Decent chainsaw for the average homeowner. I have it but I ended up getting a green works pro 60v for bigger jobs.

I have this and find it to be very useful, uses it quite often. According to Amazon, I got it for $129 back in 2015.

Bought in 2017 for $87, it works for a first chainsaw but I'm looking to upgrade to a stronger one.

I had one, and it worked well for small jobs. (4-6" branches)

But upgraded to a 40v Ryobi, and I can REALLY tell the power difference (and charge capacity).

I've had this for a few years and would only recommend if you intend to cut up branches or very small trees with it - 20v is a little underpowered for a chainsaw

Thanks OP for the post. I have a full suite of these tools for light work at our vacation rental and this guy will be perfect for limbing the trees down on the lake.

The oldest battery/drill/blower pack is 7 years old and still working just fine.

I have several of these tools, also. And haven't had any problems with them. I don't have many trees in my yard, but I usually just use the reciprocating saw to cut up limbs. But the price is very tempting, especially with the battery.

I've had this saw for six years, and I do not recommend it. 20V just isn't enough for a chainsaw to power through anything other than the smallest limbs (maybe 2" or less in diameter). You really need a saw with ~60V to cut through the branches that are likely to come down in a storm.

I've had one of these for over a year and it came in really handy after we had some freezing rain and had tons of larger branches that needed to be chopped up and stacked. It will slice through small to medium sized branches/trees with ease and the battery life is excellent. I'd easily recommend it at this price. Don't forget the chain oil.

Voltage means nothing. Look what an 18v Milwaukee can do. It comes out to how much power (not volts) the battery can put out.
