Bought this grill several years ago, when they were clearing them out at the end of season. Paid $39, at Walmart, but would not hesitate to pay $100. This is a great little grill that has a lot of versatility for grilling and smoking. This will blow your regular compact grill out of the water. Still have it, and have not had any issues.

I've had one of these for a few years too and for the price its great. I bought a huge real kamodo on clearance at Costco and ended up selling it because I'm usually just cooking for 1 or 2 people and this little kamodo is so much more fuel efficient.

I have a regular sized kamado and a kettle joe as well. The akorn jr is the best in my lineup. Buy this. You won't regret it. It can smoke a single pork butt or perfectly sear a couple of steaks. For a small family you can't beat it.

I got mine at Walmart for like $50 on clearance years ago and it has been such a great buy

Don't need one, but this is a great deal. Perform a few simple mods to prevent air gaps, and you've got a tremendous little smoker. Can't say enough good things about mine.

No, and they're tough to find for the Jr.

I found a grate that fits over the brackets, and bought a 9" pizza stone. Makes for a perfect deflector.
