This was free with Playstation Plus this past December. As a Lego fan, it's an okay game. The kart builder is really detailed, so I spent a lot of time there making some ridiculous looking karts. Can't customize minifigs, though, because the game is loaded to the brim with micro transactions, and they want you to buy the figs (entirely cosmetic, though).

The rest of the game is a generic kart racer, with an open hub world that has side challenges you need to do to unlock more challenges. Something bugged me about the handling on the karts, but that might've been my fault for building brick monstrosities. Probably good for kids, but I'd take the OG Lego Racers any day.

Low 70's on Metacritic (Switch is 61%). User rating is at a 5.9, though. Something to consider.
