This is a cool set. I've seen it in stores. One of the things I like about the Technic sets is because of the pieces used they're often sturdier than Lego. Not necessarily something every kid can build on their own, but once built they can usually take a little more of a beating without breaking apart than standard Lego bricks.

Yeah a lot of the pieces are held together with rivets vs your typical Lego blocks stacking together

Also, each piece is a real piece to put together, over regular Lego where not all
Pieces are a part of "the build".
