Agree that these are hit or miss, but I've had good experience with BB open boxes.
I live in DC so now need to drive 30 mins one way, which isnt too bad.
Same with me, as well, with the hit or miss. I'm in the NoVA area, about 1 hour and a quarter out. Woke up this morning making the decision to purchase, but was too late. Guess I'll hang on to my 512GB S7+ that this was going to replace.

Congrats on the find and enjoy it!
I have the same tab s7+ which is perfect for notetaking and tbh, that's mostly what I use the tablet for.
Will reply here if the ultra is too big and if I decide to return.
I've had this for the past year. Experience has been that it's way too big to use effectively and comfortably as a media consumption device vs. smaller (10") tablets I've had in the past (it's heavy and unwieldy).
That said, when paired with the expensive keyboard case from Samsung it's massively more useful in Dex mode, you just have to watch the Amazon used prices like a hawk unless you want to shell out another $200 for it (I was able to grab it like new for $50).
Just came back and you are right. They had a cracked tablet lol. I see that they listed it in fair condition now but don't even bother buying that.
Hahahaha, appreciate it for letting me know. Had a feeling it was too good to be true that the 256GB was selling cheaper than the 128GB, and that in excellent condition.
I checked and discovered the price dropped to $368, but none in the 250 mile radius. Wonder if someone else picked it up 🤔 Screen replacement probably cost more then what they paid for it.
Placed order for an Open Box Excellent at $540 including taxes. Store is 30 miles away, have to decide if its worth it... Replacing a 12.9 iPad mainly used for browsing and media.

I'm on the fence too about how large the Ultra is. After having a brief meet and greet session at a local BB, it may be overkill.
Really appreciate it! In case it doesn't work out between you two, I'll be here.

I'll give you 2 goats and a melon for it?

Guess I'll try my luck with the S9 Ultra.
