I was really stuck on the 11A corded angle grinder for the extra power, but after much research I think that the variable speed will be more useful to me when using wire brushes, flap discs, etc. as a DIY homeowner. My understanding is that the Model# 2888-20 only equals the 11A corded models when used with a 6.0Ah XC battery or better. (this promotion comes with the 5.0 Ah XC battery.) For my light duty use however, I don't think I will really benefit from the extra power or 11.000 RPM of the corded models.
This one gets you a 6Ah battery or two angle grinders, but it's not variable speed and I don't think it was the FUEL version:
