Why not include the relevant info in the OP?

Seems like a lot of SD Staff are doing this little self thread "bump" trick

It's a pretty solid deal, but do note that a new line of more efficient tabless batteries will come out in the fall. Since these are just the standard batteries, the dual charger (which charges at 2X speed) is the highlight for people making serious use of the batteries.

I value batteries at roughly $10/ah as a good deal (6ah+ I'd say up to $12-15/ah could be a decent deal depending) so $50ish for a dual simultaneous charger seems pretty solid.

10% off HD coupons that get sent out to card holders works for me as well which brings it down to roughly $150. Definitely jumping.

This!! The point is the dual rapid charger. The extra batteries are a bonus. I hate the weird pricing scheme they use for the batteries. 149 for a M18 5.0? Hell naw

I think it is a good deal, but this kit is often discounted to this price. I bought it for the same price in 2022 and have seen it at this level around major holidays since then.

Maybe if you have a specific need for four batteries. I accumulated all of my batteries through combos personally.

If you don't need the batteries, this same charger (albeit Factory Reconditioned) is $45.50 + $14.99 shipping = $60.49 (+tax) from Direct Tools Outlet.
I've had good success with the condition of the Factory Reconditioned products I've bought from DTO, and have even been able to LSA register some of them somehow. For the ones that the registration doesn't go through, I figure the price to buy it was so cheap I'll have no problem rebuying another if/when this one breaks.

Is it really a rapid charger though? Description, and Ridgid response to customer Q&A on the HD website, seem intentionally vague.

A slow simultaneous charger with 2 ports will charge 2 batteries twice as fast as a single slow charger simply because they are done in parallel rather than sequentially.

So if you are just charging 1, is it really faster than 1 on a standard charger?

The times match up with the rapid charger. So charge 2x 2.0 in 30 minutes. I'm keeping my eye out for the m18

The factory reconditioned RIDGID from DTO only come with limited warranty and no LSA.
