I've been waiting for a 2TB SSD with the enclosure included or with a cheap enough price to add an enclosure and still be at the $100 price point to replace an old 2TB G-Drive I have. This finally dropped below the usual sale price of $120. I bit and thought others might want to jump in as well.

Still not a bad deal considering that decent USB 3.1 Gen 2 NVMe enclosures run about $20.

It's not fast enough to be salvaged and used in the 2nd ssd slot.

Obviously it's for PS8, assuming it's backward compatible lol
jokes aside, I don't think there are any limitation on PS5 using USB since you can't play directly on it, it lets you store games on it.

If so, it's a good deal. As a thunderbolt enclosure alone costs 100ish, this has 2TB come with it

It would be if this were actually a TB3 or TB4 interface. The speed limitation is probably not the drive, but the fact that it's USB 3.1 Gen 2, which is limited to 10 GBPS, whereas thunderbolt 3 and 4 max out at 40 GBPS.
