16pc set features hex shaped shanks for easy gripping with locking pliers and includes 5 tapered punches, 5 straight punches, 2 center punches, 3 cold chisels and chisel gauge.
With 16 different shapes and designs, the 1600 is popular for a multitude of uses including: bolt hole alignment, ball joint separation, spreading steering knuckles, center punching, and driving out bolts and pins.

Here is the thing with punches and chisels. You should always wear eye protection. But do you trust the rest of your face when a punch or chisel splinters? I've had it happen to me with even a Snap On race punch, but it happens less often with better quality tools. Then there is getting free replacements if they break.
If you don't like the Snap On price, Mayhew has a USA master kit for $144 on Amazon. They make good tools.

Bro, it's 15 bucks for a decent set. I just searched for US made and found one at 250. It's steel, I doubt the US ones will last 15x longer…
