That's always the case with the super high end stuff. Exponentially more expensive for incremental gain.

The 4090 is twice the price of a 4080 Super but isn't twice the performance, going by the benchmarks. And for a gaming rig, I would've expected one of the X3D chips.

It's back! I ordered two of these. One had a defective motherboard. Cash back site hasn't posted from last time yet (I used the 10% off).

My original post got edited. Certain cashback sites may have 10% cash back. My order ended up being about $2350 + tax after factoring in email sign up and 10% cash back.

Ordered another with 10% email, $150 dell rewards, $100 chase cash back, hopefully 10% cashback site. Would be $2100 before tax if cashback site works

I still cant believe the 4090 is a $1700 GFX card, overall if you can get this for under $2500 it would be a great buy like some of the above, close to the $3K point would be a pass and not a great deal in my opinion since you can part picker all these components for around $2300 ball park.

How's the cooling on these cases as well as the supplied PSU's?

1350W power supply vs 1000W in the R16. Cooler is pretty good, the software lets you adjust fans easily.

Watch out the last time this deal came around the CPU was 7950x, and this time it's 7900x. Make it not as good as a 'deal' like last time but utility wise users might feel little difference.

Especially when they refuse to update the Bios to allow you to upgrade the CPU like they did on the Aurora R7.
Will be my last Alienware

Good deal considering 4090 priced around 1.8k ish. 10% cb 10% amex business cards and if the email thing also works thats 30% off which is already 2k ish + whatever dell rewards. Yeah prebuilts sucks but there's just tons of ways to get prebuilts cheaper and it will perform way better than what you will build. I recently built 4070 ti super + 7800x3d + "legit parts" for my own for around 1.6k and that extra 400 would get me 4080 super at max and nowhere close to 4090. If those "doodoo prebuilt parts" fails, guess what, prebuilts offers warranty so you don't have to go rma or try to diagnose your pc when you have no idea what ur doing. If gaming is your main concern and you do not care hardware anyways, please just get prebuilts (with good price at least) and ignore dummies.
