And I dunno, I just assume they send them out to people who have accounts but haven't used them in a while, to try to get us used to the convenience of the serviceā¦.(I'm sure that works on some people, but my cheapness slightly outweighs my laziness, so I just use it to my advantage to save some $$ only when I get the coupons)
Or perhaps they could do it when they want to get their quarterly sales numbers up or something? Who knows.
All I know is that 90 I saved on groceries this month will definitely come in handy.
You didn't save $210 bucks though. They charge 10% off the top of the groceries (vs what they would cost if you went to the store yourself), so you saved more like $170. Still awesome savings with next to zero effort though.
