There is a list of Google home commands in the app:

The Google Home service recognizes most English commands, but other languages may recognize only power/fan speed/mode controls or may not operate depending on Google's voice recognition success rate.

The command can be called by replacing "air purifier" with "device name" as shown below.

Ex)
Hey Google ~ , turn on the "air purifier"
Hey Google ~ , turn on the "living room"
Hey Google ~ , turn on the "living room air purifier"

Power Control
Hey Google ~ , turn on the air purifier
Hey Google ~ , turn off the air purifier

Fan Speed Control
Hey Google ~ , increase air purifier fan speed
Hey Google ~ , decrease air purifier fan speed
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier fan speed to low
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier fan speed to middle
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier fan speed to high
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier fan speed to turbo

Mode Control
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier to auto mode
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier to manual mode
Hey Google ~ , set air purifier to sleep mode

Display Control
Hey Google ~ , set the air purifier display lights to turn on
Hey Google ~ , set the air purifier display lights to turn off

Device status Query
Hey Google ~ , is Air purifier on?
Hey Google ~ , what is the air purifier fan speed set to ?
Hey Google ~ , what mode is set on the air purifer ?
Hey Google ~ , is the display off on the air purifier ?
Hey Google ~ , what is the indoor air quality on the air purifier ?

Costco bundle comes with 2 extra sets of filters which is $60 when they go on sale. So you're only paying $40 for a brand new unit from Costco compared to $65 for a refurb.

I suggest getting it from Costco because of extra filter.
If you are in New England area, utility company may also have additional rebates somewhere around $40 if I remember correctly.

This deal is better because you get more filters, right?

And it's new.

For what sized space? How often do you find that you're replacing the filters? Thanks.
Winix filter is supposed to be replaced once a year for main filter, every 3 months for charcoal, and then vacuum the mesh cover filter once a month

Bought four new ones from Costco a few months back. All but one have the fan wobble issue. I thought they took care of that? Perhaps I got old stock?

I reached out to support over a week ago and haven't heard back. I love these things but striking out with support and fan issues.
What is the fan wobble issue. I bought one from costco recently and on the highest setting it is very loud. It's quiet in any other setting. Is it normal or an issue?

I just want to share my two cents. I am not happy with this air purifier. It does not give me the fresh room feel and it can never help clear out cat litter smell.. I scoop daily, but sometimes the smell lingers after the cat does #2. Even after I scoop, the room that doesn't have pure circulation will cause smell to linger. The air purifier does good job keeping dust levels down but not very effective with smell at all.. I thought it could be the filter. So I opened a new pack. Same results. I got it at Costco, I wouldn't buy it again. Maybe smoke and dust filtration is fine but not smell. Can someone comment on this if I have a bad unit or if these things are really just glorified fans with a filter.
The auto mode detects the dust and stuffy air but struggles to clean. It just distributes the smell by fanning it out.

Not worth it.

I use a 20" box fan and slap a HEPA #5 filter on it. Way much cheaper.

I got much more moving air and my air is filtered too. This doesn't move air but it filters and cost alot more!
I did this, while it works it will not be as good. The box fan has a square shape while the fan has a circular shape. Air will be sucked in from the filter direction AND the gap of the circular shape and square shape thus decrease efficiency significantly. This part is even worse, google pressure fan and you will see the fan blade design is bended much more than box fan to create pressure to force air to move through filter. Without a proper blade, the box fan is will mostly sucks air thru the gap I mentioned. Lastly, the damn thing is too noisy compared to these.

I have purchased 6 winix units (3 new, 2 refurb, 1 used) over the last 10ish years. All still work well to this day. This one, like many of their newer models, has the permanant mesh filter before the carbon & hepa filters (I really like this feature, easy to pop off the front panel and clean it with a vacuum quickly). Overall, I'd pick this one up without a second thought if you're looking for a good air purifier.

Note - costco sells this model for around 130 normally, and is on sale for 99 currently. The package they sell also comes with 2 years of filters (normally you get 1 year included). You can very easily get 3rd party filters for a fairly decent savings, however I always like to think the name brand ones are (hopefully) best quality. I'd go that route if you have access to one.

These are more for removing allergens and particulates, not smells. For cat box odor, I would recommend a diffuser that uses water and essential oils. Lavender + peppermint is effective against cat #2.

What in the McGuyver.... 🤣

Anyway, I got two from Winix directly for $70 last year, so this is almost their status quo price, but a better deal. Even better if you need it fast with Prime shipping. Think I might get just get a 3rd one, but the Costco $100 may be better with the extra filters.

I prefer through Costco. I bought two of these 2 years ago and the wifi component went defective in both. I called the manufacturer and they told me to just return them to Costco for an exchange.
I'm going to return both for new ones and take advantage of Costco's new sale.

aren't essential oils dangerous to pets?

The woot page indicates one HEPA filter and four carbon filters, but new this unit comes with two HEPA filters and five carbon filters. I suspect it is a listing error as the one of each extra is shipped in the unit whereas the extras are outside the unit.

Currently $99 at Costco through the end of the month.

If having issues connecting the unit to WiFi - move your phone away from the unit. This is common for most smart devices. Start the setup process in a room with the unit, then once the unit is trying to connect, take your phone away from the unit. I replicated the connection issues by sitting in the room with two units, the.n resolved the issue by walking into a different room.
Likely that the filters inside the unit were used and not replaced after the refurbish process
