I have this jacket in gray and I've had it a season or 2.

Quick review in my experience.

1. Washing it isn't ideal. The feathers bundle up in the corners of their channels. You need to manually break up the bundles and push spread them around. It says to try with wool balls which I don't have.

2. Assuming it's the same material as mine (looks identical). It's not good at all getting rained on. It will soak through and the wet feathers kinda have a little scent to them.

3. Works fine in snow and keeps me warm through a chicago winter.

Abercrombie's winter coats were leaps and bounds better and they werent anything special

This isnt the first winter item to go on sale at LuLu and each one is worse than the last

You buy LuLu to get high quality items that arent regularly sold at other retailers (ex: ABC Joggers)

You do not buy LuLu to get an item you can find at Walmart/Abercrombie with the same quality and construction just to "flaunt" that you are wearing a LuLu jacket

There's a reason that they are changing their quality promise for 2024. I've worn Lulu for about 10 years, and the quality of many items has appeared to go down. I've noticed some of my older items of the same lines last longer than the newer purchases of that line.

It's a down jacket for farks sake. Not made for washing or use as a rain jacket. Also down doesn't insulate when left. If you want to do this, get primaloft.
