I have the metal version of this, and it's been great when trying to move files between legacy systems with only USB-A, systems with only USB-C, or my phone. It has been on my keychain for over 6 months with no issues.

It does generate a lot of heat when you actually start using it.

I've recently had some problems with my Kingston and Sandisk Flash drives. That being said Kingston backed there product 100% with no hoops to jump thru. On the other hand Sandisk was the polar apposite with 5 calls vs 1 for Kingston. I'm still waiting for Sandisk where as I've already received the Kingston replacement.
If you want to check this Flash Drive at Walmart here's a link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Kingst...om=/search
