I got this the last time they had a deal and while it is nicely made, the power does not last long at all.

I don't disagree, but thelis does have USBā€C input and output. You don't have to use Micro at all.

What do you mean power does not last long at all? Can you explain more. Some devices might discharge this too fast, what were you charging?

Does anyone use batteries like this to keep dash cam powered while parked? Do these charge at the same change they discharge?

Honestly, i would not trust a cheap lithium ion battery in my car. Heat can cause big issues for these. Fire risk.

Have not tried this one but I do use a 20 banger RAVPower bank and a 20 banger Xiaomi 18 watter for both driving and parking mode. Each lasts about 2 days. Have also used a smaller RAVPower and a Samsung power bank. My guess is any powerbank will work for you.

Some powerbanks cut power when they start charging. Are you charging yours through fuse box or from USB 12v?

Im charging them in my house and then just plugging it into the USB cable of the cam. Looked into the whole fusebox thing and bought stuff to wire it in but I just used a powerbank termporarily. Worked out so well that I left it that way. I use a Viofo cam. Not high end like Thinkware etc. but am satisfied.
