I came here to say this. I keep mine just inside the garage from my recycling bin. It rips thru even thick cardboard easily and feels safer than using box cutters which may slip when dull. This thing won't dull.

I scored with a box cutter. Took a while but clean and it's what I had in the shop on hand. Best bet is a drywall cutout tool or oscillating tool.
