Nice find!

I'm going to order a large pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni + pepperoni pie.
This is lame. I can advertise $6 pizzas (before fees). I hate getting to the final page before seeing the add on costs FOR FOOD!

Edit: referring to the service fee post
Looks like only medium size pizzas for me

Anyone that has ever cooked at home knows this fact. The store ovens have a set time to run, so too many toppings means undercooked pizza. Also the more toppings you choose the less of each is added.

Years ago, Pizza Hut was running a deal of $10 for any large pizza. I did double toppings with all the meats. When I went to go pick it up, the kid was so proud, telling me it was the heaviest pizza they ever made. They had all the meats spread out, then sandwiched another layer of cheese and a second layer of all the meats on top of that. It was glorious.

Delivery is expensive.

No, not delivery of the pizza to your house.

Delivery of you to the hospital via ambulance.

medium deal works here Los Angeles area, but get this
$1.02 Service fee

The service fee partially offsets the increased cost of operations in the state of California.

No fee in Louisiana, plus we enjoying $2.72 a gallon gas. 3 bedroom 2 bath 2400sq foot homes for $350k with 5 acres of land, pecan trees and a pond. We don't get the 300-500k a year tech jobs but a professional can still make 6 figures easily, case in point, a nurse makes around 100k here and her husband manages a restaurant and makes another 100k. Again, not massive money like pros in Cali, but life is easy, everything costs so much less and oh that Cajun food.....yeah it's straight fire!! Festival every weekend, great country people but big city culture just a few minutes away in the big city. Come live the good life my friend Smilie

Yup! Even if they load all the cheese, sauce, and toppings, its never baked through fully. Need to bake at home - either broil or on pan to crisp and melt cheese

Italy said they had the greatest leaning tower of pizza of all time

And Pizza Hut took that personally

I'm not too familiar with Pizza Hut but I've been ordering pizzas with extra toppings from Papa John's for years and checking the option to bake "Well Done" and they usually listen to the request. Does Pizza Hut have a similar option to check?

I like that they're disclosing this so that we voters know what the taxes and fees we pay are.

There are a few places I've bought stuff online that broke out all the taxes and fees line-by-line on my receipt from city, state, county levels, and it surprised me which gov't was gouging me for what supposed purposes. It'd be great to see too how the costs break down for regulations such as "service fee to cover worker's comp" and "service fee to cover natural gas stoves" and the like.

I'd love to see how the gasoline taxes break down on my receipts too--that would be eye-opening.

Pizza was rather small and the worker skimped on the toppings. Not worth $12.99+ tax IMO.

As long as the price they advertise includes all those items... adding a bunch of undisclosed fees after the fact should be considered false advertising.

In CA they just fired a lot of their delivery drivers due $20 minimum wage rate hike on April 1 so I can see why they are now trying to encourage carryout.
