The story is trash and takes an hour to start. Gameplay is nothing special (despite the magic), nothing feels like anything but, it is fun if you don't go in expecting it to be the second coming of Doom which is the epitome of visceral. This should've never been released as a 70$ game. At $40 it would've tempered expectations. At free, it's definitely worth a try.
Game Pass core is $10/month, and includes a catalog of only 25 games. Diablo 4 is not one of those games.

With PS Plus Essential, you get to keep the monthly games for as long as you are subscribed. As a result, you end up with access to hundreds of games if you continue your subscription for multiple years.
When comparing PS Plus Essential to Game Pass Core, Plus can easily be shown to be the better value. Now Game Pass Ultimate vs PS Plus Premium is a different story.

I have to go to each game, then copy and paste the title into YouTube to see what it's like. How can they be a "video" game company and not put up videos of the games?? Drives me nuts...
No, and there likely won't be until there's pressure from a lack of renewals. I let mine lapse a couple months ago and won't renew until there's a decent sale. $50 is my ceiling, otherwise, I'll just work on my backlog or replay old games.

There was a sale in either December or January for 55. They sent me an email about it. I was on the fence about joining.
Still not sure it is worth it. I like the idea of online games and multiplayers, but some people are real dicks.
