I have a small USB desk fan (for cooling myself) that I just direct towards this thumb drive when I need to copy a lot of stuff.
Make sure it's sold and shipped by Amazon, and you're fine. I've heard a lot of stories of people hearing about other people getting fakes, but I've never come across someone who's purchased shipped and sold by Amazon and gotten a fake.
And Amazon Warehouse used items...when there's multiple ones with different conditions described, it's useless because they mix-and-match those too.

I've bought a brand new memory card from Amazon and received a memory card in a plastic bag with a customer's photos on it. Enough info in the pictures to find their house. Absolutely ridiculous and proved to me that no, you definitely cannot trust Amazon in that regard. (To be clear, it was brand new sold and shipped from Amazon.com. No 3rd party, no Amazon warehouse)

I've heard of fakes being delivered from sold and shipped by Amazon, but for as prevalent as all the accounts make it sound, I've never actually met people with 1st hand experience of receiving a fake.
Does it happen? I'm sure occasionally, but I don't think it should be a serious concern when buying from Amazon. It seems much less common than everyone makes it out to be.
