As I'm sure it's going to get asked, the major difference between the Q990C and the 2024 Q990D is that the new model has HDMI 2.1 ports over HDMI 2.0.

If you're not sure what that means, then stick with the Q990C for the better savings.

Price changes from $700 to $839 when added to cart. Was about to take a screenshot to get a price adjustment on the one I ordered for $769.

You can only use your edu discount one time, so if you chat them and ask for a price adjustment they will ask for a screenshot of both the product page and your cart to confirm (error message shows at top saying you can't get the discount twice)

Just asked for a price match and the rep confirmed I'll see the adjustment in a few days

I didn't have that issue previously. I actually already price matched this once. From $797 to $769
