Clothing that doesn't have pockets (lots of dresses) or useless ones. I've never lost my phone, so I'm not worried about that?
I go to a lot of baseball games and the restrictions have gotten insane - this was an easy way when I had to quit bringing my bag-of-holding purse that could carry a full meal.

Never understood the appeal of a wallet that attaches to a phone.
Lose both my communication device and way of paying and identification jacked in one swoop? I access my wallet about .03% of the time I use my phone, why always have it in the way and able to fall off so easily? Risk demagnetizing cards?
Honest question, why do people like this idea over a wallet that stays safely tucked in a pocket?
I think the idea is that you're less likely to lose something that's on your hand most the time. I barely take out my wallet, only use it for showing my Driver License so this would be helpful for me. I tend to forget where I leave my wallet cuz I barely use it now. I don't live in a major city or use public transport so my phone being snatched along with attached wallet is not as likely as someone who does. It all depends on everyone's situations.
In the last 5-10 years, I've not had to show my card walking in to Costco or Sam's. I just walk by them and say hi.
They are just deterrent for non-members but in reality you can just say your family is already inside. Kind of like a smoke alarm that has no battery. It's there to warn you, but never works.
I don't carry a wallet any more. I have one of those cases that wrap around with a card holder inside. It can also fold to be a stand. The only con, is that it cannot magnetic charge on the rear unless I remove the case, but sometimes the magnetic stands work on it. I love it since it protects my phone very well and it's not as thick. I only carry one credit card in it. I'm still old fashion and swipe cards.

It's a YMMV product. Not great for you, but great for me. I never lose my phone or wallet, but I forget to grab my wallet a lot when I'm just going out for a quick errand or to the gym. Never forget my phone though, so with this I don't have to worry if I have my ID if something happens while driving. Or I go to a store that doesn't contactless payment (screw you, Walmart and Sam's Club), I'll always have a physical card with me. Or if I want to buy something with cash, I can just fold up a bill and keep it in there.
Never had an issue with demagnetizing any cards either, unless you mean with something like a hotel room key. In that case, the phone's magnet alone will prob do the same thing so it makes no difference.
Personally gonna try sticking a slim portable SSD in there with the wire poking through the bottom hole to see how it holds. If I can stack that on a portable battery, it'll be extra bulky but I can record for hours on end without worrying about running out of battery and storage.
Like I said, YMMV.

I'm not interested in one for daily use--my phone lives in the left pocket, and my right pocket contains an 8-card minimalist wallet that has worked perfectly for me going on ten years now (https://decadentminimalist.com/)[decadentminimalist.com]. I do have interest in one for specific situations, namely when I have to wear suit pants or dress slacks. In those limited situations I am not engaged in activities that endanger my iPhone, so I take the case off to make it slimmer. My card holder imprints in finer fabrics like that, so having a slim Magsafe wallet to ride on the phone and carry my DL/ID and one card--I think--would be a good solution. The phone already imprints, the addition of a slim wallet to it wouldn't make much difference in that pocket
I bought this for $12.99 plus tax about a month ago. I primarily use it if I'm going out or to a buddy's house. It's not my main slim line wallet. It works well, but I always have 3 cards, as if you only have one or two, they are loose. Magnet with ESR case is amazing.

It used to be wallet, phone, key, now it's all in one. I only carry one single piece around. The wallet is an addition to the phone, not "in the way". I have the $30 one that double as a stand alone wallet and a kickstand/tripot. They are insanely strong magnet (at least with ESG brand) so "fall off so easily" is never a concern.
Not trying to defend anything I just thought it's crazy to not combine these things Cz u afraid to lose it all… like girls don't use purses?
Also, you can always use it separately, basically a wallet with strong magnet that CAN stick to ur phone

"If you don't want to lose many things at once why are you putting all ur cards in the wallet? With that logic, why dont u carry like all cards in separate pockets so it's impossible to lose it all at once? Exactly, that's why I just have one thing and don't lose it."
I guess I'm older, have multiple insurance cards, transit cards, membership cards etc. that require the physical card (no digital option). Apple Pay isn't always an option, so that's 1-2 cards there at least. Cash money goes in a wallet clip in pocket, so that's not an issue. I don't see how carrying these all in separate pockets as you suggest makes any sense.
Haven't lost a wallet in 40 or so years and want to sustain that. Live in a populated area and take public transit at times. Have not used a magnetic wallet, but have a killer solid ring I attach at times and even that slips off while pulling it out of a tight pocket at times- and the phone drops off of it too. Granted, the magnetic wallet wouldn't be held onto like a ring but all-in-all the downsides outweigh the upsides of this gadget to me.
mine arrived today and it is solid. 3 cards fits well, 1 card is not loose. The magnet is strong and I wouldn't be concerned about it falling off. There is a QR code for "Setup" and Warranty information but neither of them go to a working site. For $10 its worth it for me

To each their own, nobody's making you buy this. But for what it's worth, I used to have a wallet absolutely stuffed to the brim with cards and I realized keeping it in my back pocket was doing terrible things to my back as I got older. Started to trim things down and as it turns out I really didn't need 90% of it. Health, dental, and vision insurance cards are in my phone. My gym, my local library, and Costco let you use an app instead of a membership card. All my debit and credit cards are in Apple Pay, so I only need a single physical credit card as a backup in case I'm somewhere that doesn't accept contactless payments.
So all in all, nowadays all that's in my wallet is my photo ID and a single credit card. If I'm at home I'll also toss in my Tesla keycard in case my phone dies (though to date I've never needed to use it). If I'm on vacation I'll toss in a second credit card, and if I'm on a work trip I'll bring my corporate card.

Been using these for two years now (not this one specifically) and has become my primary wallet. I never carried cash before anyway, so no loss to me there. I find it easier to have this than my wallet with me. Much easier to grab this with my phone when I leave.
It does not say on my phone all the time, only when I leave the house. I can easily remove it and place it in a separate pocket if I wanted to as well.
I help coach youth sports and it was easier having this with me than a separate wallet, but I have come to use it as my only wallet now.
Card magnet issues are not a problem, not one issue with that.
I am afraid to jinx this, but I haven't ever lost my wallet or phone in my life.
Only thing I don't love is I keep 3 cards in mine, ID, Debit, and credit card. I don't carry my health insurance card with me and always kinda think I should have it. Although, I haven't needed it on a spur of the moment either.
I purchased this about 6 months ago. The slot that the finger loop slides on will crack and the finger loop will come loose inevitably. Warranty was honored by esr and I received a replacement. The product is fundamentally flawed. I'll keep using it until the warranty runs out.
Have this version that I tested out and enjoyed. Gave it to my oldest and she uses it for her card she needs with no issues on a mini.
I have the find my tracking version that I have used for a while and it's holding up great. Use it as a stand when cooking for recipe access or watching YouTube. I normally keep my wallet and phone separate but I snap together when out like grocery shopping and able to pull up my list easily. Magnet is super strong on both. Will recommend for those that need to only carry a few cards here and there which these days should be a lot of us.
