"Hall effect" or not, these are some of the best controllers I have ever used, second only to the original PS2 models.

I tried using this for the switch and while not horrible it did not have the same joystick precision the original controller had.

I've had these controllers for about 2 years now. I use them for both switch and PC gaming. Highly recommend them. very easy to set up profiles and set up custom buttons. Feels comfortably and I like the buttons on the back.

just bought one last week for $50. great controller, glad i didnt skimp out and go for 1 of the cheaper 20-30 ones. bluetooth connects great.

Just FYI, the sticks on my controllers have started drifting after 4 years. I would get the hall effect ones.

Well made controllers, but they have mediocre input lag/latency scores. Not terrible, but not great.

You'll probably want to invest in the 8bitdo wireless adapters. Bluetooth implementation in Windows leaves something to be desired.
