Word of warning here, this bare tool is completely useless unless you already have or are willing to buy the bushing set to go with it. The bushings are the pieces to go on the end to make it work with different gauges of wire, without them this is a great looking paperweight for your toolbox......
What incredible timing. I was looking to buy one last night and held off because my cat threw up on the rug. I forgot to go back and purchase afterwards.
I used one of these a friend loaned me and it's a real time saver.
It doesn't appear that all the sizes come with this one, but I'll only need a few and they aren't expensive.
Thanks OP!
Yea, the slickseals gods hath smiled upon thee with the prospect of a shiny new tool for fewer beer tokens than previously anticipated. Rejoice and celebrate. HUZZAH!!! 😁

There's also the fact that the thing he quoted specifically says 'diameter' which is 'come on-ly' NOT used to refer to length, so he's just wrong every which way possible!

It's not that hard to understand what he was saying.... "Come on, sense isn't always common".

Interesting, but I wonder why they didn't utilize it as a drill attachment. I get it's 150 rpm but a drill would be variable trigger as well. Guess more money to be made as a full tool. Good deal for those who need it. I don't work with cables this large... story of my life.

It'll be so clutch for that one time you'll need it in the future. Like all the screws and nut and bolts that I've save for that day in the future.
If you'll only need this "that one time" it's totally not worth it. Large wire is easy to strip with a sharp razor. Unless you're doing this everyday or have to do like 50 wires at a time it's not worth it at all. I strip large wire a few times a month and still don't see a need for a dedicated tool for that one task which takes 2 minutes with a knife.

edit: wow lots of replies. Exactly what I was looking for! As your average energy vampire, these types of interactions are quite filling. Thanks for participating my common people.

Rofl, some masterful deflection there. In your own mind at least. As somebody who enjoys watching people twist themselves into knots to claim an unearned victory on the interwebs, I thank you for your service.
