Mostly a brand or aesthetics preference at this point. Would be nice if the fans were white instead of grey, though.
It has one more heat pipe.

Noctua coolers are definitely over priced but these are the reasons I'd still buy them
1) The fans they come with are high quality. They usually do not have any clicking or whining noises at any RPM.
2) The mounting mechanism is usually very simple to use and Noctua will also send you a new mount whenever you buy a new socket/motherboard that your cooler previously did not work with
3) They have a very long warranty. I think its 6-8 years? They'll replace your fans, mounting kits, heatsink, or whatever you need fairly quickly
This is the problem at SD. So many people intentionally buy low cost but still good products to save money yet they have a chip on their shoulders that it's cheap so they have to talk trash to those that don't mind spending much more for (slightly) better performance. Everything is a pissing contest on SD.
They're.... 1db quieter than the thermalright stuff, and 3x the cost (yes, their warranty and cs are amazing but not 3x the cost amazing lol).
There's also a new Phantom Spirit 120 EVO which is even a little better performing with newly designed fans
I have a Phantom Spirit 120 and its been working great so far, another thing that i've found that helps temps is making sure you use a decent thermal grease, i prefer Grizzly Kryonaut, if you need something in a pinch you can find TM Series paste from Corsair at BestBuy if you have one close
This Cooler is a 140mm fan though, so might be worth checking the stats on that
edit:
I think you should be fine keeping this one since it is a 140mm fan series, it seems about the same as a phantom spirit 120

Last month I had to build a custom mini-itx computer for amateur radio SDR use. I purchased the Noctua NH-U9S Chromax Black, 92mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler.
Got to say...when using Noctua products you experience phenomenal cooler quality, phenomenal fans, phenomenal performance, phenomenal appearance and aesthetics and phenomenal warranty and customer service.
Yeah, I paid the extra money for the Noctua CPU Cooler...but the peace of mind and the near silent operation are priceless to me. And let's not forget the six year warranty! If you are operating fans 24/7 for six years straight, chances and odds are they will need to be replaced...and with Noctua you don't pay a cent.
I still fail to see the logic in penny pinching on vital components of a nice computer build! Some people here have shoes that squeak when they walk...yep, way too tight!
Pay the extra money for superior components and enjoy the peace of mind!
Squeak, squeak,
Soar
Do people really warranty these in 6 years? Cheaper and easier to just buy a new cooler.

That's like saying everyone should pay extra and buy a luxury car over a Toyota when they are perfectly happy with the Toyota.

That said, it was only a slick deal for my seriously idiosyncratic use case. And there are other such use cases - or you might just be willing to pay more for a product that gets every detail right for more money. For most people who just want to keep their gaming PC cool on the cheap this is a great deal - and the performance isn't really different from a Noctua at double the price.
were talking like 1-2C better, seems both are great choices.
Are 140mm fans quieter than 120mm fans? Different or same rpm?

For the price of a noctua cooler you can get a a phantom spirit(slightly better stock) and put 2 t30s in it and still come out ahead money wise. Noctua products are just outdated and outclassed in every way . A couple years ago they were good purchases for higher end parts but they haven't kept up.
If you bought them a few years ago it made a lot of sense, but if you buy one today you are just throwing away money.

If you want the best you get Noctua.
Noctua innovates, money goes to R&D, while Chinese companies just copy designs.
Noctua has better quality control, whereas imagine if you are Thermalright and you send out a fan to review and it's a lemon, now that's the review that people benchmark: https://youtu.be/iaJBsQPqxRA?t=3
Imagine your fan making noise so now you have to take time out of your day to RMA it: https://youtu.be/iaJBsQPqxRA?t=4
So sure, Objectively, the Frost Spirit 140 may beat the NH-D15 in thermals and noise for now, but who wins in the long run?
Subjectively, what about aesthetics? The Noctua and even IDCool, Scythe, many other brands just have better looking coolers than Thermalright. but of course you don't care about that then it doesn't matter.
Here's why Noctua is the best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAJAJ3K
I'm not even a Noctua fanboy, I'm running a Vetroo V5. If I had the money I'd buy Noctua.
