I had to return an item once due to buyers remorse (I found a better deal), and it was painless.

My personal experience is I bought 2 items from their website, Philips Hue Color 1000 lumen starter pack, received the 800 lumen. Condition was as stated (open box). First order was cancelled and refunded for some odd reason but item was relisted as the exact item. Maybe they cancelled noticing it was 800 lumens but forgot to change the product when relisting. Emailed them, got a return label, dropped it off at UPS and got refunded when I told them I dropped it off. Painless. Second item Roborock S8+ (open box), came brand new. The original roborock shipping box was quite damaged and taped up but the actual product box was unopened. The damage probably was why it was labeled open box?
Either way, the comments on slickdeals or any forum does seems to deviate heavily from their ebay and amazon ratings. My opinion is forums and amazon have far more negative ratings because buyers typically don't post positive things of their seller. At least I almost never rate a seller on Amazon but do it quite often for ebay. People with neutral/positive are far less likely to remember they purchased from secondipity once and comment about it on a forum vs someone who has had a negative experience. Overall, ebay may be the most indicative because I believe it has a higher turnout on receiving ratings than amazon or forums, despite my somewhat negative experience with them myself.

Child labor and slavery exits in many nations and industries. Don't buy electronics made in China. Don't buy meat processed by Tyson. But this does not mean that Nespresso is about the worst company in the world. However, if you see an article that states that Nespresso either knowingly or unknowingly bought a batch of coffee beans from a farm that employed child labor, by all means you have the right not to buy their coffee. Not buying their product may incentivize them to do a better job policing their suppliers.
Child labor and slavery exits in many nations and industries. Don't buy electronics made in China. Don't buy meat processed by Tyson. But this does not mean that Nespresso is about the worst company in the world. However, if you see an article that states that Nespresso either knowingly or unknowingly bought a batch of coffee beans from a farm that employed child labor, by all means you have the right not to buy their coffee. Children working for a wage in an industrial, mining, or factory setting, on the other hand, is absolutely over the line and should be eradicated wherever possible. That means facilitating a living wage for the parents, one way or another, so that the kiddos can get educated and build a better life than their parents had. Easier said than done, though, in places where living hand to mouth is the norm.
Sweet, actually just saw a nespresso unit with a frother for $35 left, so got that instead. Going to return the single frother I got.
