If yours is a gmail address (i.e. [email protected]), register for a new Boost account using an alias version of your email address (by adding a plus sign '+' after 'username' followed by any other text, such as [email protected]). Emails sent to such alias addresses will arrive in the main [email protected] account's inbox.

Note: Even though the plus sign '+' is valid per email address RFC standards, many web-sites reject such email addresses (violating the aforementioned RFC standards). Gmail ignores the period '.' character in the username part of e-mail addresses, so you could change it to 'user.name' or 'us.er.na.me' and so forth to sign up under a new email address at Boost (i.e. [email protected]) while still receiving emails sent to those alternate period-based usernames in your main account's inbox.

P.S. Outlook.com / Hotmail, I believe, honors the '+' sign alias syntax but am not sure it ignores the period '.' character in usernames.

99% chance it will be T-Mobile. Almost impossible to get ATT these days, but some have gotten lucky. In my experience, any MVNO using T-Mobile are much more deprioritized than ATT-based networks, but YMMV of course. FWIW, SIM IDs that start with 89012 are T-Mobile and 89014 are ATT.

Have been using this for a week now. Really good service.
Surprisingly agree. I tested this out for two weeks so far and everything is so far so good.

Depends on the zip code you enter when ordering. If you're around a city, it'll more than likely be T-Mobile/Dish Networks. If you live pretty far outside of a major city, you have a chance of it being AT&T.
But can you use a different zip code than shipping address?

If anyone is planning on buying more than one card, don't make the same mistake I did and hit the "do you want to add a second line" button which pops up right after your purchase of the first one. Make sure you buy them separately. Both lines are on the same account.

I dont know why all crazy about ATT SIM and why I was misguided by following the comments here earlier towards grabbing ATT SIM.
BECAUSE...
I SUCCEEDED IN GETTING ATT SIM WHICH IS EASY BUT WHEN IT COMES TO NETWORK EXPERIENCE WASTE...
You always see LTE SIGNAL irrespective of your phone model, if you force 4g/5g then that impacts your incoming/outgoing calls.
Even if you achieve 5g on your boost ATT SIM then you'll have a second grade connectivity experience which makes you to switch back to LTE.
So,
Ignore ATT craze and go with what received by default.

I've used T-Mobile via lyca which has flawless internet connectivity and I used to wait for the data reset date as the data limit exceeds because of blazingly fast.
But this one...
End of month current balance sits at 20gb left even though it's your primary device..
So, imagine guys...
For more proof:
I just tested my att boost sim's internet speed and it is 2.32 mbps in FL.
WHILE T- MOBILE mvno sim speed is 11.4 speed with 10% signal imagine if it has full signal which can easily push 100+.

I dont know why people are crazy about ATT SIM which I've and also have to live with it for an year but not happy Frown .

Once your into ATT, Can you go back to T-Mobile?
Yes it's easy , cc can't help, but store can capable of helping you from the issue, they do the magic of disconnecting the service and they also give options to select the new plans and pay for it in addition to little expenses towards activation and service fee etc etc .
You can also forget happily that you paid $150 already and also can be convinced( foolishly) that when the store says " We can help you solve the issue". 😵 💫🙃

Ignoring my long message and still looking for the steps to get ATT sim ...Wow....

Go to any boost mobile store and pay $10 plus tax and call to customer care and tell your ICC ID and get your $150 plan activated on it.

You can also do it on ur own, but people suggest cc, dny.
But the process u do and cc r exactly same.

Yeah, sorry . I thought since you mention easy there was another way.

eSims on eBay have a disclosure that you have to activate with customer care

Any boost store sells it for $10 and it is far better than eBay

plus the three month thing would require swapping sims, activation, all that PITA stuff every three months I believe. Not the same at all.

How bad is the TMO deprioritize vs ATT? I have great TMO service where I am and generally a city suburban type not rural. I'm currently on the TMO $10/month data only plan 2GB and its generally just fine. If I use the data up I either bump it up for the month or use something else. This is nice at $12.50, although it wont work with the Amex Bus Plat $10/month get your fee reimbursed fully. But ok.
I've been with boost for a few years. No one can really answer this for you since it's highly location-dependent. I have an att sim and my wife has tmobile sim, both through boost. At home in castle rock CO, my service is better. Today at lunch in Lone Tree CO, hers was far better (it toom over a minute for me to load the digital menu for the restaurant). Recently on a trip, my service was phenomenal in Los Angeles. Up in Simi Valley CA, mine was terrible.

I will answer the question I asked earlier but did not get a reply. I just found out the hard way that a T-mobile locked phone does NOT work. I tried to port in using eSim, did not work. They were cool about refunding me the $150 but had to scramble to port back out.
