Probably one of the most returned sets to. Back with the first sale amazon was flooded.
Tons of OS/software and input issues and the PQ is terrible.
There's a reason this is always on sale.
ALSO, after reading the reviews and complaints, the multitude of youtube videos demonstrating the same errors (awful software embedded and super slow input switching and of course, samsung may make good products (when they work) but their customer service has ALWAYS been known in the industry to be one of the WORST).
I will trust my gut and still pass... but $399 is very tempting... even for a VA panel.

The other good thing is that one have HDMI 2.1 that I can use 4K 120Hz that is more than enough.
Has anyone else had the same dilemma? Both for work and games.

Actually, I've had the same DisplayPort detection issues with every Samsung monitor I've ever owned, including the 49" G9 OLED. And I tried it on 5 separate computers (4 PCs, 1 Mac), so it's not the computer, and all have different GPUs. I also sent the first one back, so it's a consistent issue. I think it's just a Samsung issue; I don't have this issue with my Dell or LG OLED monitors, or even LG LED monitors. But Samsung…happens a lot and with every model I've tried over the last 15 years.
Still IQ is good/very good, contrast is a bit lacking, but well worth $380. Not at all worth $1000.
