Any reason why I shouldn't like this at $951? Hoping for an X1 Carbon but this looks pretty close and 32GB/1TB as well.
I'm not VIP but guessing I can be.

Small battery, I'd read notebookcheck but my suspicion is 5hrs battery life for typical office work.

The deal on the P14s with OLED screen and 64GB RAM for $100 more is appealing.

It says expired, but the WSDEAL8 code works and brings the total to $1049. If you're a student or a senior you might save an extra $40 by verifying with id.me. I've got the P16s and it's a fabulous laptop.

Title needs to be fixed - says 14" display when this is obviously a 13-inch laptop.

Also check your Amex offers - I'm seeing one for $100 off $900.

If it's allowed, I'm actually about to post my carbon for sale. I use it for Spotify for work and felt like it was massively overkill so (once again, if it's allowed) DM me.

For those messaging about specs

X1 carbon gen 11 14" Core™ i5-1335U 16gb ddr5 400 nits, IPS

Can't imagine shelling out this much cash and only get 300 nits. Shameful

depend on your use, but 2.4lb vs 3.5lb, which depends on your use case, could be more important.

i have T14 (about 3.3 lbs), and X1 nano (about 2.1 lbs). and the difference is actually very significant if you need to carries it all the time and don't need the physical RJ 45 port, or the 64G or ram.

Yes, they are run to the WWAN card location. (unlike cheap Dell who doesn't include the antenna wires if you don't order the WWAN card (same for WLAN also).

Well, Dell still sells 220 nits, and I think HP starts at 250 :-) for business class computers. If that's a concern, the base panel for T14 Gen 5 is 400 nits, I think.

But this has HDMI unlike the Dell XPS 13. Personally, I prefer USB 4 40Gbps vs TB4. I also doubt many people are connecting 40Gbps devices to either laptop! Smilie

Will this play games nicely since it's a 780m paired with 32GB?

Edit: Fuсk it's expired.
