Good deal 👍🏻

But while I waited for this dela for this model, I decided to put $200 more and buy MBP M3 Pro 😄

These were same as my thought process when I bought these on release. If you need extra ram, ssd than base, just buy mbp. If all you doing is browsing buy base. Charging 200 for 8g ram and another 200 for 256gb ssd in 2024 is just insane.

Appreciate the sarcasm. But there is a difference between 30% markup and 60% or 100% markup.

Also no need to attack me for my opinion. You can ignore it and we will both have better mental state.

I agree with everyone else - go for the MBP.

1. Bigger screen
2. Bigger mouse pad
3. Fans so less heating issues
4. Better speakers
5. More ports

Are you all talking about the 16" M2 MBP or something? 16" M3 starts at $2500, which is nowhere close in price to this.

Edit: nevermind, I misread and thought this was the M3 MBA for a second ♂️

I don't get it. I've had a midnight air since the day they came out, and not once have I had an issue with fingerprints.

The 14" MBP is $1600 for half the RAM and storage as this. And those upcharges are consistent across the entire lineup, its $2k for 16/1TB.

Anyway, my ideally priced knock around MB of any current-ish model would be < $1000 with 16 gb.

I dont think i'll ever buy an alternate color given the very bad fading on the palm rest of my old space grey mbp, unless Apple fixed that issue.

The competition is so lame that people are willing to pay! Apple products are one of the rare examples of people choosing quality over quantity/price.

I suspect the price of Apple devices with M2 chips will continue to decrease due to the recent vulnerability news.
