Crucial says it maxes out at 64GB of RAM, although 32GB is the sweet spot in my opinion and the SSD looks like a standard PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280. https://www.crucial.com/compatibl...-15-eg3000 , Amazon has the 32GB kit for around $60. Here's a partial teardown video here to see what it looks like inside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlG_SwGWoMY , everything is easily accessible with both SO-DIMM slots on the same side of the board.

For some reason the HP support manual lists the memory as:
Quote :
Two SODIMM slots, not customer accessible or upgradeable supporting up to 16 GB of RAM
.

However, as noted in the video link above, the two SO-DIMM slots are easily accessible. Consider this when weighing the value of the RAM upgrade. Unfortunately the system comes configured with 8GB of RAM as two (2) 4GB modules (though you could upgrade to 12GB by swapping in a single 8GB DIMM, the more likely upgrade path is to 16 GB by buying two 8GB DIMMs). Luckily, if you cared to upgrade to 16 GB (for example) this would cost you a small amount of time for a simple swap and less than $50 for two 8GB DIMMs (rather than the $80 demanded by HP).

A touchscreen option is available for $70.

Good luck!
Jon
