I have this drill. It is a beast. I'm a gc and beat the hell out of drills and this one is the only one that can handle my abuse. With a flex bolt battery it will damn near beak your wrist if you don't hold on tight.

Very solid price from a retailer. Can likely be had a hair cheaper on FB marketplace, but this is about as good as it gets.

This drill is indeed a beast - a little too much so sometimes. The clutch on this thing is pretty useless because even on the lowest setting it has way too much torque to do things like cabinet hardware etc.

Can I put an auger onto this and make large holes for posts in the ground?

I use the drill for exactly this function. Make sure you use the side handle or you'll break your wrist as others have stated.

I have an older model of this 9xx series. Yes, definitely a beast. I do have a number of other lighter/smaller ones I tend to use for most tasks. When I pick this one up, it's like "Oh yeah, I remember now, this is the beast one!" Very solid! Great for when you need it, though.
