I do have this helmet. I like Scorpion helmets. This is my third or fourth. The price, quality, fit, features, etc align with my needs...YMMV.

I won't bother to mention all the good things about this helmet. Here are the things that I have noted.
- It was killing my ears on multi-day long distance rides. I removed the speaker pocket covers, and all is well now.
- I haven't found any need for the air adjustable fit feature after trying it multiple times. I leave it without any air pressure.
- I normally wear a size large in Scorpions. This helmet is tight in a large. Maybe bordering on too tight. After about 10 full days or more of riding, it's become acceptable.
OP - Thanks for the motorcycle related post; these are always welcome.

I think I have this helmet. If so, I'll come back and post my thoughts.
I love Scorpion, but they've got to be discontinuing these older models that don't meet the new ECE 22.06 specs. They're very good helmets, but higher standards should mean better models are on the horizon.

By the way, I love the adjustable fit air pumps. As your helmet breaks in, you can get some of that original snugness back.

Also, while this is a good deal, these can be had for closer to $330 on the regular. You're saving money, but not really $150.

Honestly, I'd wait to find a helmet with the new ECE standard. Ruroc Atlas 4.0 has it - and they are always offering deals to make it a lot more palatable on the wallet.

You can find them used, as well. The Atlas 2.0 and 3.0 were pretty terrible, but Ruroc (in my opinion) REALLY listened to the criticism of the earlier models and came out with a really nice model. And they are safer, to boot...

It's like comparing Honda to fiat

It's just naked bikes. I have four streetfighter bikes including my track bike..
I have ridden with scorpion hjc and Arai. All lift and smash the helmet against my face at varying high speeds.
Oddly enough the track bike has a dirtbike plate on the front and nothing else, and it honestly has the least helmet lift and buffeting. The aero design of the helmet actually comes in to play.
My mt09 is the worst, with extremely turbulent air coming up from the speedo and headlight area. My RPHA 11 is rated as one of the quietest sport helmets on the market, and it sounds like a 79$ Walmart helmet on it.
That makes sense. Was thinking about getting one of those nose fairings to help with the buffeting, not thinking it would potentially also help with helmet lift. This is my first naked bike. I've owned fully faired bikes before and buffeting was always mitigated by the tuck.

Dang exactly what i ended up doing went from bell racestars flex to a shoei r1400 mural. That antifog screen that it comes with for the rf1400 is amazing.
wait til you buy a photocrmatic visor, + fog pinlock. I assume they make it for the rf1400. AMAZING. ive been using same shield for years, love having tinted during sun and clear at night.

what blows tho is the price.

Thats it. I ordered a Puig windscreen for my Aprilia Tuono, it helped some as it covers more than the stock flysceeen.
They had a taller touring model which would prob be better on it but I like the lean look on it now.
Maybe powerbronze uk or puig has one for yours too.

Stupid question incoming.

I'm in a harsh winter climate. Walk the dog every day, sunny or blizzard. In the latter, when my breath is taken away by -20F gusts I think to myself, "why don't I wear a full head shield"?

Thoughts on using a helmet as an extreme weather shield? 😅

Military surplus Arctic gear. Can't beat it. Balaclava and dual lens goggles. Warmer and cheaper than this too.
