I tried it a couple of times with Lowes online and the hack doesn't work. The hack does work for Lowes in store.

Basically you buy BOGO items and return what you don't want. This has been a thing at Home Depot for a while and recently at Lowe's for IN-STORE purchases.
IF you're able to do it, your receipt will show each item at a pro-rated price.
