Very nice card. I've had it for about a year now. It plays all of my favorite games at 120 FPS 4K. Prior to this I had an RTX 3080. Not sure why AMD gets so much hate.

Lol 😂 you better not look at how much more a 4090 is compared to a 4080

I've had one of these I picked up at Microcenter 8 months ago in my main gaming rig. I've been very pleased with it, the performance for this price is insane unless you're all-in on RT or DLSS3.

Snagged mine in late June last year for $830 when Amazon offered a brief $100 coupon. It's been running beautifully and playing all of my games at 4K. I've thrown 2,300+ mods on Skyrim with this and it looks beautiful in 4k. I've seen up to about 18gb of VRAM usage with modding so happy to have the 24gb on this card!

I also went to the 7900 XTX from a 3080 as the 3080 wasn't hitting the frame rate I wanted at 4K. This card is an absolute monster. I've had no crashes or driver issues on it since its launch.

a 4080 has CUDA support so it's much more useful for AI which is why nvidia cards are priced higher

Would be nice if they added some memory to that cuda support. 3090Ti with 24GB is more of an AI card, especially with NVLink.

I think the 4080 ( Super ) is a gamer/creator card mainly, even if it can handle small, optimized AI workloads. I think it's more supported and sought after for creative work due to Nvidia API dominance. In turn keeping the demand and price up.

I've got a 7900 XTX and can confirm it is a monster. I was playing Baldurs Gate 3 at 192 fps on 4K with ultra settings.
