No way this lifts the driveway as it cures. Now if you lifted the driveway using some jacks first and then sprayed underneath and waited to cure this would hold up (within reason). There are some YouTube videos on this method, but if you are backfilling you are fine to spray away. Any excess will just ooze out the sides.
Overpriced. You can usually get a can of foam for around $4-6. Here is GE insulating foam[walmart.com] for much less.

SPF can be painted with acrylic or latex paint to blend into whatever you need it to blend with. Just don't use oil/solvent-based paints that could dissolve the foam.

Best advice ever. This goes for all foams.
You could, I've found general purpose bondo to work better for me, which I then sand down to level and spray paint to match the surrounding color.
