I agree with you that out of the box the monitor does have a yellow tint. But then I found these settings on reddit. After changing my settings to those, I don't see the yellow tint anymore. Make sure to turn off the Vision Engine. Now I like it so much that I'm considering to buy another one for my second monitor.

"Starter" monitor? I'd call it a "budget" monitor, but starter monitor feels like a really weird phrase. It's not like a starter snowboard that one would upgrade when one gains more skills. This is a very good monitor for perhaps 95% of people.

Bought one about a month thinking it would be my secondary. After a bit of research color specs online and some basic calibration it's my new main and I absolutely love it. I know run dual 165hz nano IPs panels with a Dell S2721dgf I got new a few years ago for $300 and this $200 little beast

How would you compare it with 2721dgf?

Would a couple of these be a good option for a work from home setup? Mostly novice level photoshop, premier, creative cloud stuff.

Same price at Amazon.

Just purchased an LG Ultragear 27GL83A-B in October. Considering switching to this as text is a bit blurred to me on the LG.

Purchased this for the same price the last time it was posted. Great picture. Using it with a Displayport cable. Got an extra 5% off military discount. https://api.id.me/en/session/new
