Yes, it's a pretty slick deal. Very nice screen, good build quality, slim and light, fairly powerful CPU...this is a really excellent mid-range machine.
B&H will tell you to take it up with the manufacturer warranty.
At best maybe they'll exchange with another unit.
Unless things have changed good luck getting your money back once you open it.
I have that cosco laptop. It's much more powerful than this post. But it is a little more money for that. You get 32gb ram and an rtx 3050 as well. I ran Witcher 3 on ultra settings running around 55 fps (did not turn on ray tracing) on this one and it ran the 3050 at 95% and the memory at only at 11gb of the 32 and the cpu at less than 10%

I have used ThinkPads for work for many years. I'm looking at buying a refurbished thinkpad for personal use. Nothing fancy, just browsing, Ms office and occasional streaming.
How does this lenovo model compare to thinkpads? My last personal laptop is a 2 in 1 Acer and it started falling apart after a year. Thinkpads are tank like in comparison.
I looked at this one first, and then found Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 AMD Laptop on Ebay. After I compared both, finally I bought the ThinkPad P14s even though its display is not as good as this Slim 7i and its price is not the lowest for the P14s model.

Same. My ebay offer for a ThinkPad T14, Gen 3 was accepted this morning. Mine is Intel though.
Ebay offer? I bought mine from The Official Lenovo Store for 655. Offer is not available.
No, I bought from a non Lenovo vendor. Listed for 470 and my offer of 435 was accepted. Definitely some nervousness since I'm not buying from lenovo. Decided to roll the dice.

We should be able to pay an additional $500 to $800 to custom build 8ram/256 ssd and 4ram/256 ssd respectively.
HEY LENOVO: We the PC People demand to be as cool as Apple Fanboys.
Worse CPU and 256GB SSD raises it $1000 to over $1700! What a deal!
