I use this very same tool day in and day out. I go through 100 pack of AliExpress ZoeRax Brand Cat5/Cat6 PassThru ends in about 2 weeks. This Klein Tool cuts the wires and crimps much much better than AliExpress ZoeRax Branded Tool that you can order with the Pass Thru connectors. Pins 1 and 8 cut every time with the Klein tool, Whereas you have to try to re-cut/crimp with the cheaper crimper. Very similar crimping experience with Platnum Tools crimper with corresponding Platnum Tools connectors.

I have and have had (tools have been stolen) nearly every Pass Thru Crimper on the market and can confidently say that this particular Klein Stripper is the best experience I have had with cheap AliExpress Pass Thru ends.

Search Within Ali: ZoeRax Cat6 CAT5e Pass Through RJ45 Modular Plug

I use the 100 Pack for $4.54

You will notice a similar tool from ZoeRax that is yellow. It works. It is slightly smaller and is a mirror image, you have to flip this tool 180 in your hands compared to the Klein. If you don't do this work day in and day out, I can recommend that $10-11 tool to get you through the job or for installing a few Security cameras as a DIYer.

If you don't use it often, the head of the cable is 6E.

Keep in mind there are 2 types of RJ crimps--the kind that bite into solid wire (for permanent installs in walls/etc.) and the kind that bite into stranded wire (the flexible cable we know and love).

Yeah I go back and forth on this, but ultimately for smaller stuff it's just better off to buy a factory made patch cable anyway unless it's in a pinch

I have this and it works well. But it's really for solid copper wires, not stranded.

For shorter cables, it's easier to just get premade ones.

Just installed a bunch of cables around the house using this tool - passthrough made it MUCH easier to ensure that cables are in correct order. Will be buying one for myself

I have this one. Did my whole home and FIL's house with solid 23AWG Cat6.

The sheath cutter works well and the crimper never fails.

Would be super nice if there was an easier way to trim the wires evenly and cut the inner core out.

I bring a pair of scissors for that currently.

dont forget to get a QUALITY tester. Dont buy that grey/green one on amazon.....i reterminated so many cables because that POS tester kept failing. I bought the Klein one (and these crimpers) and good to go
