I was renewing my Dropbox Plus subscription - was going to use American Express 25% off deal. But on websearch- I realized that Visa Offers has a 40% off.

It is better than Amex as it immediately applies a 40% discount instead of paying the full amount and waiting for a refund cashback from Amex.

Can't replicate. It states: Offer redeemable by new Dropbox users and existing Dropbox Basic users only.

Seems it is for Basic users who upgrade to Plus. I am already on Plus and can't renew with discount offer.

I talked to support associates in chat. They cancelled my subscription renewal (which occurred today only) and refunded money on my credit card. Then, I could use this to resubscribe to Plus. It may be worth it to contact them on chat and see if it works for you.

Great deal OP! My dropbox expired and was able to renew/upgrade to Plus with 40% discount. Note I was also able to use my Amex and didn't require a VISA.

My renewal auto charged today, and I was able to request the cancellation from chat support as well. Wasn't too painful and agent was very courteous.

I cancelled my Dropbox premium a day before it was set to auto renew. After the auto renewal date, I was able to add the Visa offer with no issues and I now have premium again, but at a lower rate than the regular subscription fee.

Stackable with AmEx offers? I have "Earn 50% back on purchases, up to a total of $80" from American Express, was hoping I could use the Visa link for 40% off and then use my AmEx at checkout for more. My renewal isn't until January, but will definitely try and report.

Update! Yes, this Visa offer IS stackable with AmEx offers!

If you have an AmEx offer when you login there, click to enable it. Then go to this Visa offer and proceed to checkout, but instead of using a Visa to pay, use the AmEx.
