The part number stated does not show up on their website that I could find. I contacted customer service and below is what I was told.
"We appreciate you contacting us regarding your question. You would need the PX1888224X Circuit Breaker 10A. We have provided a link to view/purchase the item."

Seems like a great price, may not offer a lot more raw HP than a contractor or bench saw, but the difference in stability and table size make this a worthwhile upgrade imo.
And shortly after sold out to festool. What a morally superior company.

Also reveals everyone but sawstop is opposed to mandating this tech. They'd rather 4000 fingers a year get chopped off. manufacturers declined to license the tech when offered by the inventor, so he started sawstop. F*** if I'm supporting any other manufacturer.

What's really crazy is in moment of humility (and because they are not currently selling the Reaxx system) they admitted to flaws in the design because of false triggers from newer generation cellphones which were not a factor in 2016 (https://toolguyd.com/bosch-reaxx-...nt-buy-it/).
I expect any future YouTube demos featuring a hot dog sausage should be updated to include a hotdog sausage holding a smartphone on a cellular FaceTime call to present an accurate depiction of the technology.

Saw stop is great technology, I wish I could afford it. Saw Stop is not some altruistic company, they enforce their patents, they kept their competing technology off the market made by Bosch. Also, while not revealed I'm imagining the licensing fee for use of their patents must be pretty onerous that no other maker of saws would want to pay and have a competing product in a very high end segment of the market.
I hope as these patents expire we see that technology be made available on more affordable saws. I'm not a fan of the government mandating it, especially when it picks a winner in an industry at the expense of others. If the government is going to mandate this it needs to come with some guarantees from Saw Stop to offer a reasonable licensing fee for their technology.
All that said - if I were buying today - I'd get a Harvey. In terms of build quality and price it seems hard to beat. Yes, they cost more, but they are a very good value. I own their C14 bandsaw, it's a high quality machine for a very good price. Harvey has 'sales' virtually daily.
I still think this is a good deal on a new saw for 90% of people.

long answer is no one can really answer this for you. We don't know what your needs are, maybe the jobsite saw fills those needs completely. I just do random woodworking projects, so I started off with a dewalt jobsite saw that was great for what I needed at the time, but as my skill progressed, I demanded more from my tools and that saw took too much effort to get the results I was looking for. I ended up upgrading to a 20 year old delta unisaw that I got off craigslist for $500 (a steal) and the difference between the two was astronomical. It's a 3hp saw, but I don't imagine a 2hp will be as underpowered as everyone is making it out to be. Also, it's not like you can't work around it.
