Aghhh shoot here we go again.
If you, like me, stilll have a sour taste in your mouth from the latest Amazon bike fiasco then this should satisfy your cravings.
I picked a new foldable that looks eerily similar to the Rattan/Heybike offering.
This 500w 20"x4" e-bike can be had under $600 including shipping and these are actually UL rated.
Free Delivery
It looks like they are moving fast, so YMMV
Let's hope these actually ship!

I did! Thanks for pointing that one out. I'm a bit taller (over 6ft) so I prefer the step over vs. step through. The other one should be a solid choice for my partner (under 5ft)!
Description said 18 moth full coverage. But I sprung for the 3 year Allstate warranty as well.
The 720W/48V Lectric Lite will do better on hills for $180 more but is a single speed.

If anything, I don't have to raise my legs higher so the step through is better.
The other is way better. Cheaper and its a 48v/14ah battery where this one is 36v/12.5ah. 672wh vs 450ah. It's a no brainer.
Power is ample for entry level. In mode 3 you can easily Cruise 20 mph and I'm a bit on the heavier side. I would say full blast range is at least 20 miles, you could double that by helping pedal a lot without breaking a sweat. And if you're on the lighter side add some more range as well.
I did the tires at about 1500 miles they were kind of cheap and they wore a lot. I did do quite a bit of towing for my daughter's bike trailer so the extra tongue weight on the rear tire might have had to do with the degradation.
Honestly for 600 bucks it's really not that bad. I'm now waist deep and addicted to the e-bike movement so I'm searching for something a little higher end but if someone told me they wanted to dip their toes into e-bikes I would totally send them this link.
The only thing is if you live in an area that has lots of bumps cracks potholes lack of suspension kind of stinks. I run slightly lower tire pressure to compensate.
