Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.

You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.

Hybrids make sense, but EVs? Who wants to sit in a parking lot for half an hour like a bozo. The same people who wait in line for boba or some pair of shoes. Hard pass
The same people who spend $10 for a coffee.

Yikes.

Reading this thread has become like one of those youtube videos where cars slam into each other in bad weather endlessly.

There's no point in "discussing" anything with people limited in capacity to view anything outside their narrow perspective.

75 pages huh?

This deal is solid. Car isn't my cup of tea but at sub $300 a month in 2024 with 0 down, what are people expecting, a Maserati? Lol

On the issues of Evs in general they are here to stay. They shouldn't be a divisive issue but leave it to the government to make them one by providing tax rebates and then going so far as to try to mandate them 20 years before they have the battery technology or the charging infrastructure to compete with combustion engines. (Not my words this has been stated by ex energy secretary Chu who was an Obama appointment and a champion of the "green").

One size fits all doesn't work. Never has and never will.

Just about 115 years ago cars took over from horse and buggy transport.

Same thing gonna happen to now outdated ICE.

Roll on new technology

BTW this is a great lease deal, but I cannot get anything close to these prices.

People who have solar? I've got an 18kw system on my roof that was purchased with cash. I can drive for free and I'm not driving more than 100 miles a day 90+% of the time.

If the USA is now "a poor nation", the rest of the world must be in imminent danger of dying of hunger. Despite the constant BS spit out by partisan groups of various kinds, the GDP of the USA is $80,000 per capita- virtually the highest in the world, excluding some small nations, and the highest in its history. "We" have never been richer.
When you shrink the value of the dollar and increase the cost of goods and services all while taxing, spending and printing without restraint. that "big" $80k number dramatically looses it's luster. Smoke and mirrors

Maybe you dodged a bullet. Japan and Germany are as good at making EVs as they are at winning world wars. Might want to wait for an Ariya lease (I feel like 90% of the Ariya board leased theirs and claim it was an amazing deal) or simply hold out for a better EV (I recommend Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis. My sister-in-law loves her Lyriq).

No, it loses nothing The inflation-adjusted GDP of the USA has never been higher. Americans have never been wealthier. But also they have never felt more entitled.

The distribution of that wealth could be a little better however or we wouldn't all be on SlickDeals.

IMHO this car looks promising but range is crappy. Plus don't they say to charge only 80% on daily basis, not 100%? So at 80% of range is at 182 without using any of the electronics, ac/heater, radio, charging stations, etc…once they get over 300ish in range than it'll be worth it. Otherwise you'll be charging this multiple times a day. Hard to use as a daily commuter. Looks nice!
Your daily commute is over 180 miles?

"Better" is always a matter of whether one is the donor or recipient. Another myth is that the wealth in the States is extremely uneven. America is not even in the top quartile for income inequality. Top performers by "income equality"? Ukraine, Slovakia, and Belarus.

Yeah, that's not exactly high praise. Trickle Down Economics will kick in any day now, right? Right?
