Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.

You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.

That's exactly what I wrote EV SALES ARE UP 15% OVERALL DESPITE TESLA SLUMPING. Read a book
And I am saying that this is the worst quarter of the past four quarters for the EV market both in the USA and worldwide and that only a fool will choose to ignore that.

The dealer here gives me a $241 a month plus 6.25% tax but first payment is $1071. Do you if they could do something about that first payment?

Until they make an EV which fully recharges in 15-20 mins (this is the time taken to refill gas, use the restroom and grab something to munch on while I'm on long trips) I'll be avoiding these for now. As it stands, Toyota's hydrogen engines look more promising.
Could be even quicker.
Stop at e-station.
Swap for a pre-charged battery.
Pay.
Be on your way.

EVs were up 15% OVERAL last quarter. You really can't read all that well, can you?

Somebody else has difficulties reading. Or comprehending. Last quarter was the worst quarter out of the past 4.

Well thought out, just like changing batteries in a flashlight right? Clueless is right, these batteries are 500 to 1000 lbs. So would need special transfer locations, inventories of batteries, and special mechanical connection in the car so battery doesn't go flying in an accident.
