it's that the ethernet connection from the monitor will pass through usb-c to the laptop, so it gives the laptop a hard wired internet connection when plugged into the monitor

Ips, Ethernet, 90w usb c; this hits all points for productivity! Gaming will suffer due to 60Hz (you really want >= 120hz) but otherwise solid monitor for a new price

All I read is complains about LG playing games with monitors under warranty. It could say 10 years and I wouldn't expect them to follow through.

Chase has a 10% points deal that I believe is still active on Staples purchases. This model doesn't have a lot of reviews, so I'm not so high on it. Got the LG 34WP60C-B from Amazon 229 last week.

Thanks for posting. Has great feature set for office work. It doesn't clearly say if it is VESA or not. They are touting the built in stand features but on some google results I am seeing a 100 x 100 mm vesa pattern. We shall see.

When connecting a laptop using the monitor's powered USB-C port, will this one cable do both, charge the laptop, and also send video and audio from the laptop to the monitor? Or will it just charge the laptop and I have to use an additional HDMI cable for video and audio? TIA!

Seeing as it advertised as a universal docking station with USB-C, I would say yes.

It depends on the laptop, as some don't charge via USBC and only offer data/video output, while others can do both

Nice price for the features!

A dealbreaker for some may be the 3800R curvature, which is noticeably lesser curvature than the popular 1800R on many other 34" LGs or the newer aggressively curved 1000R Samsungs.

Thank you for your responses. I have a few month old LG Gram which should support it. Just ordered one. Would be very cool it I can cut down from my current three cable setup for charge, audio, and video, to just one.
