it's that the ethernet connection from the monitor will pass through usb-c to the laptop, so it gives the laptop a hard wired internet connection when plugged into the monitor

Ips, Ethernet, 90w usb c; this hits all points for productivity! Gaming will suffer due to 60Hz (you really want >= 120hz) but otherwise solid monitor for a new price

It came with a USB-C cable that should work.

EDIT - Nevermind, not a Mac guy. Just realized the end you need on the MacBook side may not be USB-C, I suppose.

Anyone use this with a Mac Mini 2018 for general use (office etc)? Trying to figure out if it'll work with it without issue, or if the 4K / size will be too much for the Mac to handle

Still showing $250 for me all the way to check out. Give it another try.

Just be aware that off center color maybe distorted due to less aggressive curve, unless in perfect lighting and/or sitting way back. And it's not Gbps, more like 300-ish network connection.

Thanks Op. Once I saw this, I was hesitated whether to buy it because I don't know how its usb hub work. Anyway, i bought it since it seems like a good deal. Let's hope it will ship.

Looks the the audio ( and video ) are available through HDMI, DP, and USB-C. My dell MFF has a tiny speaker but hopefully i can make use of the monitor speakers (albeit not THAT much better)

Anyone have the color/picture settings on this monitor dialed down? Especially if you have one of those calibrating tools. Been trying to get it right manually, but just can't quite settle on one setting for all uses without tinkering back and forth.

Bought yesterday , picked up tonight , going to setup today . Will let you know how it goes as this is replacing one of my plder LG Ultrwides in my AMD Infinity setup .

Funny though , I first bought the other LG Ultrawide deal at $200 just a two days ago (this thread :http://slickdeals.net/f/17381124-200-lg-34wp65g-b-ultrawide-monitor-34-21-9-fhd-2560-x-1080-ips-display?v=1&src=SiteSearch, and will probably sell that unopened locally as LG does not take returns unless its dfamaged or does not work properly .

If the unit from this thread is a keeper .... need to grab one more .

Ok , time to set up the unit from this thread .....

Got mine yesterday. One issue with my unit though is that the right side of the screen is much brighter compared to the left. not sure if this is unit specific…

Anyone else out there experiencing the same?

Great deal OP , thanks a ton !

* note , and YES I do game with these in EyeInfinity mode and without screen tearing up to about 100/130fps w/ a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900xtx in 7680 x 1080 or1440 .
