it's that the ethernet connection from the monitor will pass through usb-c to the laptop, so it gives the laptop a hard wired internet connection when plugged into the monitor

Ips, Ethernet, 90w usb c; this hits all points for productivity! Gaming will suffer due to 60Hz (you really want >= 120hz) but otherwise solid monitor for a new price

Got the monitor earlier today and just set it up. Love it so far. My use for this monitor is almost strictly work related. It replaces an LG 34WP60C, which I also really like. The built-in hub in this monitor is simply amazing! I had no idea such a thing existed until this deal popped up. Probably a good thing, because I would've paid retail to have it if I did. Was previously using three different cables for power (usbc), video(hmdi), and audio(usb), which is now all combined into just one usb-c! So much easier to unhook the laptop and go. The curvature of this screen is not nearly as pronounced as my previous aforementioned LG monitor that I was using. It's a very slight curve, to the point where it makes little difference for a monitor that's completely flat. Not a big deal at all for me, but it may be an issue for others who are specific about it and want a curvier monitor. The speakers on this monitor on the other hand are for last resort use only. I hooked up an external speaker set through the monitor's usb and they're operating great. Overall, extremely happy with the monitor.
I dont totally understand the hub capabilities yet and havent explored yet. If my laptop can be powered by usb-c, that means that if I plug my laptop into the monitor with a USB cable, it will automatically give my laptop power and video signal to the monitor? NO need for a PD charger at home anymore? Don't understand the audio because I didnt think this monitor had speakers on it. What USB audio signal are you transmitting from the laptop to the monitor? Is it a passthrough to separate/standalone speakers?

edit: I see that there are speakers on this thing....wow
The built-in speakers deliver exceptional sound quality with MaxxAudio technology, ensuring clear communication during meetings.

So does the single usb-c cable (come with the monitor) work for everything? No need to add power to laptop separately?

It transfers everything via USB - Audio for the headphone jack on the monitor, video, anything USB such as an SD card reader plugged into the monitor is passed to your computer via that single USBC connection.

as long as your laptop supports power through usb-c. I have 2 laptops (1 does not support power through usb-c) so I had to switch out my laptops after reading about the single sub-c connection for power, video, and audio

as long as your laptop supports power through usb-c. Some laptop usb-c are for data transfer only

Got mine yesterday. One issue with my unit though is that the right side of the screen is much brighter compared to the left. not sure if this is unit specific…

Anyone else out there experiencing the same?
Move your head side to side, it's brighter wherever you are facing? I'm guessing you have windows on your side, close the blind and it might getting better. If you step back, the brightness also become uniform.

That's my experience, not sure what to do about it.

Whoever is trying the hub feature, it appears uplink type-c is USB 2.0. So you only get about 400Mbps, or 35MB/s moving files using the USB in the back, and 1/3 of that Gigabit RJ45 speed.

Can someone doublecheck and confirm? Or debunk and fix it?

Thanks for the input but mine clearly seems to be a panel uniformity issue

Wow, coming from a U2415 ultrasharp (16:10) panel, this monitor is lovely, particularly with the dual input. Can't believe this deal is still ongoing! For people that don't game and just need to do basic work, this monitor is great.

Can I connect 2 Laptops to this monitor at the same time? Does it comes with the software required for this type of usage?

On the menu, you can split the screen with two inputs. You don't need a software.
Thanks OP.

Don't you need some software to use two inputs with one keyboard/Mouse?
