Very happy with my UCG-Ultra.

Though, of course, they will come out with a UCG-Max with a SSD next week or so, and I'll be kicking myself for not waiting

Got UCG-Ultra last week.
If another had POE ports I'd replace with it.. so I can retire another POE switch taking 6W. Also need controller on it, don't want another device for it.

Any UCGs coming with POE ports?

Need to move from PFsense to UCG. Any good ways to port the DHCP static IPs?

In stock at retail price is a slick deal?

It's not Covid 2021 anymore.

If you want to get one of the new products, you need to keep refreshing the store pages or get on discord stock notification channel. Demand is high and to be honest, that's a lot of device for the price. Same with UCG Ultra. Express is meh IMO.

The USG's are limited in throughput performance with IDS and IPS turn on, so yes these are upgrades with 1Gbps for the Ultra, 1.5Gbps for Max

Prob not… get the UDM pro SE. Seems like the newer stuff is less rack mounted hardware more desktop oriented

I feel like ubiquiti is doing this on purpose because they this with all their products.

I don't think so. I think manufacturing is trying to keep up with demand.

I'm happy I ditched ubiquiti for routing at home... I am using a Firewalla Purple as a router.

Unifi is still my switches and wifi APs at home. But tesitng TP-Link which is better value hardware; IMHO Unifi is overpriced for what hardware they give out for the $ - a single admin panel for everything is nice but you end up paying double.

Yep the way I look at it, if you really are in the admin interface regularly doing setups and changes for a complicated lan, then Unifi is worth it. If you want to just set it and forget it then youre probably wasting your money. So many people buy these for their home and look at the admin panel once a year and the rest of the time its just a router they could have spent 1/3 on and gotten the same performance.

I don't have anything new from Ubiquiti but I can say that after I switched over to this company for all my home router needs it's been great.

I have an edgerouter lite, a cloud key that I never use 🙄, and 3 of their AP's. I think I set this stuff up about 7 years ago or so. I have exactly one time had to power cycle my equipment due to network issues. Other than that, that's literally it. It just works all the time and I have a lot on it. Cameras that upload 24/7, plus all the other normal stuff people have like laptops, smart displays, phones, etc. Probably time to update some stuff, though everything works just fine.

I'm certain I would have been through about 4 Wi-Fi routers in that time had I not made the switch. About 1.5 yrs is all I ever got out of a standard Wi-Fi router before.

I have a feeling that if you turn on site filtering that this will drop below 1Gbps
