Pretty good deal. I bought that weedeater a couple of weeks ago for $153 from Amazon. For another 26 you get the leaf blower.

Just a heads up, that 2.5ah battery won't last very long in the blower if you use turbo a lot. They eat through batteries fast.

Not a bad deal, but only a single 2.5ah battery is definitely a hindrance. If you've already got batteries and need a trimmer and blower, this isn't a bad way to go.

I tend to keep a 2.5ah battery on my trimmer as that, the edger, and the snow shovel (dumb useless piece of shit) get really heavy with bigger batteries. The blower is fine for a bit with a heavier battery as the center of gravity is way closer to your hand.

No, this is just the trimmer, not the power head.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it

I use it that way. May not be as accurate as the power head edger, but It saved me some money.

Me too. Got that $153 deal unopened and looks like I've got til April 23 to return it. I've already got the ego 650 blower, but for $26, kinda stupid not to have another I guess. I've already got a 5.0 battery.

Solid deal I love their leaf blowers and mower. I found the trimmer too big for standard residential use like around garden beds and fence lines. I normally trim under my composite fence but this was too big to get under.

I know that's an anomaly but did want to point that out. I wish ego would come out with a smaller version for light duty use, the frame felt unwieldy too given its length.

Like how long? Btw, this combo deal used to be regularly $199 a few months ago at Lowes when i went to the store.
15 mins on high. About 7 mins of turbo, but continuous turbo will cause the battery to overheat

I'd argue the bigger battery is almost mandatory for the blower as the COG is so far forward. My wrist hurts after using that thing for more than about 2 minutes with the 2.5ah.

In a previous deal, someone posted that the trimmer with the carbon shaft is a better option. True?

They won't. This is it. They are aimed at semi pro and consumer that want more.

What you are looking for us one of those cheap 24v like the greenworks or black and decker one.

Probably if you use it commercially. But the average user will probably not need it. Unless you like to beat up your tools like crazy.
